You Literally Are What You Eat | Nutritional Junk Food | The Mental Minute


Hey guys, I appreciate you tuning in for this
episode of the Mental Minute. Today I’m going to be asking a simple question. What organ suffers the most when you have
a poor diet? We as a society are trying to get healthy,
but unfortunately there’s still a lot of people that “feel” fine, but yet don’t understand
the damage that a poor diet is doing to their body, so if I was to ask you which organ suffers
the most when you have a bad diet, what would you say? Most people would probably say liver, but
it’s actually your brain. Why is that? The brain is virtually dependent on everything
that you eat in order to function properly. When you eat foods, via digestion it’s broken
down in usable components like vitamins and minerals. Those vitamins and minerals travel up to your
brain which inevitably do one of three things. It actually replenishes the storage, it activates
the cellular reactions or becomes the fabric of the brain itself. Think about it. The things that you eat are actually what
your brain is made out of. You eat crap food, that becomes your brain,
or do you eat healthy food, that becomes your brain.
