what’s up guys it’s Max Barry owner of Max’s Best Bootcamp let’s go on a grocery-store tour today here at Whole Foods Market talking about the best food choices that you can make for weight loss and optimum health how’re we doing at the fish counter my man how are you all right great all right now when buying seafood we want to form a relationship Chris is here tonight he knows what the freshest fish here today yes but yes if he’s putting yourself out how are you so what would be some of the best protein sources from the sea right so any of this fish is going to be fresh fish but I’m not talking about the battered and fried sources up right any of these are going to be some good options Chris what is the most fresh like three items tonight always dressing farm-raised salmon in is the wild coming out down not this is wild coho salmon but it’s previously frozen okay we will be getting the king salmon in end of May yeah any salmon tastes so good so good yeah so all right awesome so those are the fresh cuts now the shrimp you’re saying uh not the cooked ones are you yeah dick easy stir-fry it up there you go he’s in alright soul thanks old man preciate you any other questions on seafood yeah a first serving you know what is the serving of any protein it’s going to be about your phone size so you can always go by that as like a judge of your food like one serving of fish beef chicken it’s about the phone side so try that yeah but it’s going to be about 6 ounces yeah good are you gonna cook those up for the barbecue no more oh really yeah can’t go wrong yeah grilling season excellent good let’s keep going guys what’s up my man hey we’re doing a tour to the food yeah all right I lost with me before I thank you all right if you’re a vegetarian right now this won’t be your favorite segment but if you’re not or you think that you know red meat is bad I would challenge you, unless it just ethically an issue for you uhh has anyone heard of grass-fed beef raise your hand okay grassfed beef, the animals very healthy and so it’s a healthy animal to eat conventional meat really not that healthy of an animal because they pump them with all kinds of stuff Whole Foods Market stores does a good job most of their stuff is hormone free and but if it doesn’t say grass-fed it’s not and so look for it you’re going to pay a premium for it but you don’t need to have as much and it’s going to be the best cut you’ve ever had and so here’s a good option ground beef is going to be a good savings you can make some burgers with it everybody likes it right here it’s about ten dollars a pound if you get like a grass-fed rib eye that can be like thirty dollars now so it’s a good way to budget out grass-fed beef that’s what I usually do a couple times a week for sure man what about bacon any bacon man yeah good try and look for the lower sodium but bacon find it again try and look for pasture-raised healthy animals we can consume them all right we got a question oh we got chicken and as far as chicken does anybody really like chicken breast you really did good for you though like like very hard to flavor but if you like it keep doing it it’s a good option otherwise feel free to try some size tried some other cuts of the chicken because they’re marginally different calorically wise if you have a lot of the extra skin and things like that it will add up but if you try some like boneless thighs you’d be amazed you cook them the exact same way delicious all right so feel free to branch out a little bit if you’ve eaten chicken breast for the last 365 days okay because most of us have banana and chicken bread in the fridge okay so many great choices here at Whole Foods Market for weight loss and optimum health I want to thank Whole Foods Market for having us here today also want to thank you guys for watching this video if you liked it definitely give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel for more awesome content like this every week I’ll show you guys if you want to take the guesswork out of your weight loss journey let us create a customized meal plan for you that’s going to get you awesome results check out our website for more information at maxsbestbootcamp.com as always thanks for watching this video you guys have an awesome day!
