Weight Loss Results on Paleo Diet

Weight Loss Results on Paleo Diet

What do you think of the weight loss results
on Paleo diet? If you’re only eating meat, fruits and veggies,
you’ll probably lose weight. I have trouble imagining how you can lose
weight enjoying a steak every night. It probably has fewer calories than the large
pizza a lot of people have for dinner. I heard that the Paleo diet is better for
your metabolism, because it is what we evolved to eat. Hunter gatherers in Africa do gather starchy
roots, while Native Americans enjoyed cat tail roots. So the Paleo diet’s assumption
that you don’t eat carbs isn’t completely true. But they eat a lot fewer carbs. That’s true. And since modern carbohydrate
rich foods like pastries and bread are loaded with sugar and lack fiber, it acts on the
body like sugar. Someone told me that makes you hungry sooner
or interferes with your appetite regulation. The Paleo diet overall is great if you’re
diabetic. And diabetics have trouble losing weight. It is amazing how many Paleo enthusiasts try
to chase down dinner or hike the hills looking for wild food. The more natural diet, the better it is for
you. If you go full caveman and walk everywhere,
you’ll lose a lot of weight. I suppose if you have to chase down a rabbit
before you can eat it, you’ll burn a lot of calories. That’s probably why a fat guy in early societies
was considered highly desirable. He had to be a good hunter to be fat. Do you think the Paleo diet is good for weight
loss for most people? It’s hard to eat too many calories on that
diet, given the price of meat and hunting licenses. Have you seen the prices of fruits and vegetables
these days? So buy what’s on season in the produce section
instead of watermelon in December and grapes flown in from Chile. And you don’t have to
buy the expensive noni berry or Tibetan goji whatever to benefit from the diet. If that’s the case, this might be the cheapest
diet on my list.
