The first thing you need to know is that our bodies as they were created have the ability to detoxify themselves and rid themselves of toxins very efficiently and do not require a specific type of food or a specific type of diet to reset itself and rid itself of toxins it does not rely on any food as much as it relies on itself we genetically have this natural ability available in our bodies naturally not to dismiss the second point where all-natural aspects around us and the stress surrounding us whether it comes from food or the stress around us or any different environmental aspects this definitely affects the stress or the anxiety formed inside of our bodies Regarding the detox diets or detox juices or to consume fruits and vegetables only for 2 days or to go on a juice cleanse What’s the concept behind this? If you’re feeling relaxed and light it’s only because our body has gotten rid of a lot of food groups we haven’t consumed a lot of starches, we didn’t consume fats and we didn’t have proteins and we all know these are larger food groups and our bodies need time to break them down, digest and absorb them so the stress and pressure on our intestines is much less than before and so we feel lighter and more energized because the bodily functions are less and so you feel lighter because larger food groups are not there not because fruits and vegetables are magical or the tea you’ve consumed or the juice cleanse you went on detox teas do not exist these are solely marketing claims something we’ll discuss further in the future so should I go on these detoxes? no what you’re losing on the first 2, 3 days or a week is just water or “Glycogen Stores” water that’s retained in the liver and muscles weighing 2 to 4 kilos, once you get rid of them then your body starts losing fat in small percentages do they really boost our metabolic rate? does it increase burning? is it beneficial? it’s only beneficial as it makes you feel lighter because you lower your consumption of bigger food groups that take time to be broken down and digested but they do not affect your metabolic rate and increase it nor is it a food plan that one must follow if you feel like you’ve really binged on food or strayed off your diet plan for a long time and consumed things, not on the plan there’s no problem to go for a day of eating less of the larger food groups but it is not a diet. it can’t be long term as we shouldn’t forbid ourselves from larger food groups and essential foods for longer periods of time as we will suffer deficiencies from nutrients and food blocks that our bodies require for our daily bodily functions so let me remind you again, Detox Teas detox diets, detox plans and all these claims are solely for marketing purposes they do not benefit us nor do our bodies need them to go on about our lives the only thing here is for you to follow a suitable diet plan over an extended period of time to continue to have consistency, movement is essential everyone should adopt a diet plan that works for them, their lifestyle and their surroundings and how they go about their daily lives and something that’s sustainable so the diet plan you should follow is something for your lifestyle something that guarantees consistency for you the detox diet isn’t the right fix nor is it something scientifically proven to work I hope to have answered your questions regarding detox diets and detox plans please subscribe to my youtube channel and watch me in the next video goodbye (salam!)
