Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies without Cocoa [Vegan]

You’re lucky to have found my channel, if you aim for wholesome plant-based
recipes that use no refined ingredients and don’t play havoc with your blood
sugar levels. This here is my first-ever grain-free aka paleo chocolate-chip
cookie recipe that don’t even contain cacao! Furthermore, you won’t need to use
any oils or vegan butter and not even a sweetener! How’s that possible? Come along
and I’ll show you! First, take coconut puree or any other nut butter and warm
it up in microwave oven or in double boiler (until it is liquid). Then, add oat
milk to coconut puree and mix them together. Add the milk gradually to avoid
lumps. You’ll find all the quantities in blog post or in video description. Next,
in a large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients: almond protein powder and
coconut flour, cinnamon and Himalayan salt, ground chia seeds and regular as
well as toasted carob. Combine everything well. Now, pour the liquids over the dry
ingredients and mix until you have homogeneous batter. Finally, fold in the
carob chips. You can buy those from store or make your own. Learn the process from
the blog post. And you don’t have to worry — it’s very easy! Before you go on,
refrigerate the cookie dough for 15 minutes. Then divide the batter into 8
parts, form round-shaped cookies with your hands and place them on a baking
sheet lined with parchment paper. Feel free to make smaller or bigger cookies,
as you prefer. This is how your hands will look like, but that’s part of the
game! If you wish you may add some extra chips on top of the cookies. Bake them at
175 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit for 16 minutes. Let cool before biting
into those delicious bakes, if you are able to! As you can see they
can be quite tempting! One cookie will fuel you with 115 calories, 53% of which come from fat. So, those chocolate cookies are
definitely not low-fat, but sometimes it’s exactly what I need! On the other
hand they are as low glycemic as cookies can get — perfect for those on Candida
diet or struggling with blood sugar fluctuations. See, there’s no rocket
science to baking wholesome chocolate-chip cookies that can even be
savoured on Candida cleanse diet or by those with severe dietary restrictions.
