Lower Back Mobility Exercise

Lower Back Mobility Exercise

Dom McKay musculoskeletal therapist
this video is about limbering up that lumbar so getting that lower back the
lumbar spine to just relax and feel all nice and loose and free again so begin
with your feet shoulder width apart and place the hands on the hips and now what
you’re going to do is start to create circles with your hips so you’ll feel
that this is creating flexion and extension and side bending in the lower
back so what you want to do is just position yourself in a way that you can
get as much movement out of that rotation as you possibly can now after
10 to 15 of these you’ll want to change directions and just move through that
and you can really start to exaggerate this and you can even push with the
hands to assist the hips to come forward and drive forward access that range of
motion through your hips and lower back and after doing a few of these you’ll
start to feel much more limber through the lower back and if you’ve got any
lower back pain then this will help to relieve it
