hey guys and gals out there this is Rockin Raffi bringing you another edition of Rockin Raffi’s home cookin and for all my
returning subscribers welcome back and for those of you who are here for the
first time we’ve never been here before I wonder welcome you don’t forget to

you’ve got a chip on your shoulder well stop holding grudges and hold a
healthier snack instead in today’s episode we’ve got exactly
that for you something healthy we’re taking the American classic potato chip
and we’re turning that into an avocado crisps this is a low carb chip in its
healthy it’s good for you and you might be wondering well what are the
nutritional facts if it’s low carb stick around because I’ve got the answer for
you right at the end of this episode and without further ado if you’re ready I’m ready
time to chip away the avocados the main attractions in this recipe and it’s very
important to pick the right right avocado let’s start with our recipe what
you’re gonna need is about two medium-sized avocados so you want to
make sure that you can get the avocado gripping in your hand like so that would
be considered a medium size go ahead and place the avocado inside a medium sized
Bowl and go ahead and smash it with a fork also add about one teaspoon of
lemon juice and one teaspoon of lime juice as a half a teaspoon of garlic powder take about a half a teaspoon of Italian
seasonings take about one cup of freshly grated
Parmesan cheese and add it to your bowl stir all the ingredients well place the
parchment paper on the baking sheet using a water melon scooper go ahead and
take some of this mixture and place it on the baking sheet once they’re all
placed go in and flatten them out on the backside of that scooper and bake it
till crisp and golden brown for about 45 minutes we let them cool down after we remove
them from the oven for at least a good 1 hour
serve this alongside with your favorite salsa and if you have any leftover
avocado mixture dice up some tomatoes into the avocado mix and call it Guacamole and now my favorite part of this show here’s looking at health. flavors intense
I don’t even taste avocado to be honest with you I’ve got like a combination of
the different flavors that we added today this recipe made 26 crisps each
one having 35 calories to it with 2.9 grams of fat point 9 grams of
carbohydrates that’s less than one gram and that just wraps up today’s episode
