How to grow pomegranate plants at home with locally brought fruit.

Hello and welcome back today. I’m going to teach my viewers about how they can grow this pomegranate plant at their home, so let’s begin. These are the pomegranates that I have brought from the local grocery market Cut the pomegranate so that their seed will not be cut off Now We have got the pomegranate seeds This is basically pomegranate fruit We are getting the seeds from this pomegranate So here are the actual seeds of this pomegranate. So what I’ll do is that I will just squeeze the pomegranate seed and remove its the juicy part and here I am left with the pomegranate seeds. You can see the white shell type of thing they are the pomegranate seeds In the same way, I’m taking the seed out so cleaning them so I will be left with the seeds from which I can grow the Pomegranate plan so now placing this seeds over tissue paper So now I make the tissue paper completely wet and now placing that tissue paper inside a ziploc bag To keep the moisture locked inside. I’m using this ziplock bag so Now I’ll place that in a plastic box and keep the lead covered. After five days I have also placed another seeds, but here we will be checking only the pomegranate seeds So after five days here. There is not much change in the seeds They are just in the process of germination, but there is no change so placing them back In the same way It will they will before So now after nine days Taking the seeds again, and I can see there the seed has grown The seed has germinated yes the seed has a related over there so now I’m making a cocoa pit ready with the hole under this cup for the drainage. Here is the seed now I’ll place this seed in this coco peat so that the root will get good nutrition, and it will grow faster, similarly I am going to place other seeds as well Okay now I have placed that into ziplock bag now checking after 17 days Here you can see that pomegranate seeds has grown up in a very nice way They are tilted towards the light okay You can see the seeds cover are still attached with the newly grown pomegranate plants So you can remove the seed cover of the seed or you can just leave like that okay now here after 24 days You can see they have grown in a very nice way The leaves are also very good, okay. I’ll just place them back for the growth Now I’m making the mod ready for the plants that are germinated so I mixed 4 part of coco peat 1 part of garden soil and 1 part of the sand, I’m mixing that very well I have used the sand to make the soil loose and Coco peat is good for germinating the new seeds new plants and it is also a good medium for growth for every plant so I have prepared the cups to transplant those well grown-up pomegranate plants So I’ll just feel half off the cup with the mud Now you can see these are the beautiful Pomegranate plants that have germinated in this cup after 30 days here You can see the roots that are deep down the cup. The plants are really good growing really good So now I will take out from the cup Okay, Wow you can see There is a good network of roots down there and the upper part has also grown very well now. I’ll separate these Pomegranate plants gentally don’t Separate them very harshly because the roots are very fragile. They might break down So you can see I have separated a plant and now I am transplanting it in a cup Okay I will fill the cup with the mud that I have prepared right now make the sand compact so that there will not be any airlock inside it So here I have prepared my first Pomegranate plant and it seems pretty good. Now I’m going to transplant now the plant Just fill mud in the cup and place the plant and then fill again with the mud from all side so in this way you can prepare your another plant similarly Let me prepare all of my plants So now Here in one cup I have placed 2 of the pomegranate plans no problem, okay Now watering them so that there won’t be any air pocket left inside these inside this plant cough at this time the plant might tilt left and right because The sand is not that much firmed that’s why they might tilt left and right, but there is no problem So here I have planted all those pomegranate plants in these separate cups And they look pretty good to me till now so after a week of planting they are doing very good in these cups. I love them so friends, Few tips that I want to give to the new growers are 1. select well ripened up pomegranate fruit for starting your project and that will give you the best result the fastest method to grow this pomegranate seed is by growing in better soil like coco peat and keeping them in a ziplock bag Once they will be one month and above old you can transplant them in garden or bigger pot Lastly spring season or summertime is the best time to grow them so friends if you have any queries in My videos please comment below.
