HOW TO GET SIX PACK IN 1 WEEK !


-Hey guys, so if you
really want to know how to get six-pack abs,
don’t miss this video. OK, welcome back. My name’s Marc Dressen,
you’re watching MDTV. And, yeah, I’m a
sports scientist. I’m sort of involved in
training and educating people in fitness and nutrition
over, now, the last 18 years. And you know, I
think it’s about time that someone out
there in YouTube actually tells you what
is really going on. Because to be quite
honest, this video only came about because I
was searching some stuff and I’m looking at some
other videos on YouTube, and on the side,
all of the time, I see these tags
which are called, get six-pack abs fast, get
six-pack abs in one week– 3 million views. Another one, 15 million views. And when I watch
these videos, honestly people, what are you doing? Let me break it down. I’ll take that back, I’ll
make it a bit more simple. I’ll look at the people who
actually produce the video, and then I’m going to look at
you guys who are actually– you probably clicked on this
video, because it has this tag. And it was an experiment
because I wanted to find out, are people actually interested
in what is really going on, or are they just seeking
for the quick fix? So let’s start with you
guys, or with people who watch these videos. I know you are in
a situation where you want to get the
result, you might be struggling to get
your six pack, and so on. You’re looking for an
answer, and that is fine. There’s nothing wrong with it. But sometimes, I feel,
because as a personal trainer I train over years and years
so many different people, and all of them have
one thing in common– they want their results as
fast and quick as possible. So when these videos
pop up and say, in one week, you will
have you six pack– of course they get watched. But the problem
with these videos is they’re utter rubbish,
to be quite honest. Because they’re not
going to teach you how you will get this result in
one week, or fast at all. Because quite frankly,
to get a six pack, and to get into real shape,
just takes dedication and time. They’re just out there,
people who promise you– you know these people. They over promise and under
deliver with what they actually post there. Now when I look at the people
who post these six-pack videos, in one sense, they’re not bad. Let’s say it this way– most
of the videos you will find are some sort of ab
routine, like five or six ab exercises linked to each
other, maybe 20 seconds each. And then they say do that
thing for five minutes, and then you’ve
got six-pack abs. I mean guys, do you
believe that crap? I mean really? If you do this for one week,
you will not get your six pack. Now, there’s nothing
wrong with people wanting to help you in
putting together routines, and telling you, OK, this
is an ab exercise you should do to get six packs. I don’t think there’s
anything wrong with it, I think the only
thing which is wrong is if people actually don’t
tell you the truth while doing these exercises. So that’s why I’m here, and
I’m going to tell you truth. So we figured out now, OK,
we’ve got these people who want results fast. I’m one of those, as well. I do want to get results fast. But then I’m also realistic,
I know how long it will take. And then on the other
hand, the people who do produce these videos,
all these six-pack videos, and over promise
and under deliver. Now what it comes down to is
that most of these athletes– I’m going to call them athletes,
because most of them who have this body shape, where
they’re really ripped, and they’ve got a good upper
torso and muscular definition– they’re very close
to an athlete. And if you think
about an athlete, they don’t train
just once a week or twice a week, they train
probably every day, sometimes even twice a day. But training is not everything
in getting your six pack and getting into shape. Obviously nutrition is a
very, very, very big factor. It’s up to 70%, I would say,
out of your whole regime of what you need to do
to get your six-pack abs. So it’s nutrition, it’s your
exercises of course– it’s not only core exercises, because
we all have six pack abs, but they’re layered with
our subcutaneous fat, which is just underneath our skin. And to get rid of that– and
this is different from person to person. Some people you will see
six-pack abs, or their abs showing, sometimes, if you’re
lucky, with 15% body fat, just because they’ve got a
very good genetic profile, and the way their
muscles are layered. But then for most of you
guys, or us guys out there, it isn’t 15%– it is under
10%, some even 8% of body fat. Then you will see
this definition. And trust me, everyone who
gets down to 7% body fat will have six-pack abs. There’s no doubt about it. So in terms of how
to get your six pack, you need to watch your diet, you
need to do the right exercises, you need to watch your body fat. You need to make sure that
you’re under that level, because watching your diet
and doing the right exercise but you’re always under–
if you measure your body fat and you’re at 10% or
12%, don’t be surprised if it doesn’t show yet. Sorry guys, I’m not trying to
put people down or anything, I just felt that there isn’t
anyone who actually stands up and has the guts to say
what is really going on. And I think this is
what is going on. And therefore, I know that if
you’re the sort of person who thinks, I want
this stuff fast, I don’t believe what I’m
saying, that’s fine. That’s your opinion. I know definitely by the
science and everything, which is backing up how to
train properly, that that is not the way how most of
the videos on YouTube are teaching you how
to get six-pack abs. OK, so if you want to know more
