Sometimes people think well am I going
to get a balanced diet am I going to get the nutrients I need now that I have to
modify everything in my life you can. Definitely saying it’s easier to do that when you just substitute out things you want to
look for products again that maybe are enriched with new tree with different
vitamins and minerals just to make sure if you’re first diagnosed it doesn’t
hurt to take a multivitamin just to kind of supplement as you’re starting to heal
the gut again it’s not necessary but if you’re very sick it’s something that can
just help increase that absorption because chances are there is so much
damage already in the intestine so you want to help repair that and try to get
some more in there and what if you have a dairy allergy where do you get your
nutrients from for milk yeah so you could substitute it out depending on the
allergens that you have you might have you can go with almond milk or soy milk
or rice milk those are some other options as far as calcium and you want
to increase some green leafy vegetables that also provide you with a good source
of calcium as well like almonds and and like bok choy for example those are
gonna be dark leafy greens that are going to give you some more of those
calcium you also have your tofu but again if you’re allergic to these things
you’d have to substitute those out so if somebody has a tree nut allergy they can’t
have the almonds but chances are you’re not having all eight allergens at the
same time but again there are some people that do suffer from them and
that’s where you want to look for the products that are completely three of
those top eight allergens.
