(Click CC icon twice for more language options) – Hey guys, I’m Rob Riches,
and on today’s video for SupplementsWorld.com,
I’ll be taking a look at the many benefits
of using hemp protein. For more information about hemp protein and many other ingredients,
be sure to check out SupplementsWorld.com. (Dramatic music) Hemp protein comes from
the sativa cannibis plant, and it’s considered one of the best plant-based protein sources. It contains at least twenty
different amino acids, nine of which are essential. It’s also rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, including GLA, Gamma-linolenic Acid, which is often hard to obtain
through a regular diet. It’s also high in fibre. Now, hemp protein has
been studied extensively, and it offers many health benefits, without any of the
psychoactive compounds THC, attributed to the plant
of the same family. The benefits are plentiful. Just supplementing with
hemp protein powder is a great way to increase
your daily protein intake, prevent deficiency, and maintain the optimal
functioning of your body. By boosting your protein intake, you’ll also accelerate your metabolism, which in turn can help keep
body fat levels in check. The high fibre content of hemp
helps to keep you regular, by cleansing the colon, regulating blood sugar, and reduce cravings. Now hemp protein also
contains the plant proteins Edestin and Albumin, both of which are responsible
for the enzymatic functions in the blood plasma, along with antibody formation. Edestin is considered the
most easily digestible protein in the plant kingdom, making it a great protein source for both your immune system and muscle-building. Now, the amount of protein you need can really depend on your size and your fitness goals. A general rule of thumb
is one gramme of protein per pound of lean body weight. So a 25-gram scoop of
hemp protein provides around 15 grammes of protein, making it a potential significant source towards your daily nutrition goals. However, if you suffer
with autoimmune conditions, I recommend consulting with your doctor before consuming hemp protein. This is due to the high
levels of Gamma Globulin and antibodies contained
within its structure. Whilst hemp protein is beneficial
for the majority of us, the immune-boosting
effects might be too strong for those with autoimmune conditions. For more information on hemp protein and many other ingredients, check out SupplementsWorld.com. And if you haven’t already, do subscribe to our YouTube channel. I’m Rob Riches. I’ll see you soon. (industrial music)
