Grain Free & Paleo Chocolate Cake Recipe

(upbeat music) (gentle music) – This grain-free and paleo chocolate cake is one of my most visited recipes online and one of my most requested
by friends and family. Let me show you how easy
it is to make a cake that will satisfy that chocolate craving. In the bowl of my stand
mixer or a large bowl, I’m going to sift the
coconut flour, almond flour, baking flour, and cocoa powder. Sifting is crucial so
your cake is lump-free. In a blender, you’ll want
to combine the coconut milk, honey, eggs, and vanilla extract. We’re gonna blend on low speed until all of the ingredients are combined. With our stand mixer on low, we’re gonna slowly pour the
wet ingredients into the dry. We want to mix this just enough
for everything to combine. And you’ll want to stop this a few times to scrape the sides with a spatula, just to make sure you get it all in there. The mixture should look
like a chocolate mousse. As you can see, I have an
eight-by-eight square baking dish lined with parchment paper, and the sides are
greased for easy lifting. We slowly pour the cake
batter into the lined pan. Give it a quick shake to make
sure it’s evenly distributed. In the oven it goes for about 15 minutes until an inserted toothpick
into the center comes out clean. We need to let the cake
cool for about 10 minutes and then carefully, we’re
gonna separate the cake from the lined edges and lift. We’re gonna allow it to
fully cool on a cooling rack prior to frosting it or topping with a little shredded coconut. See, you can have your
