DAY IN THE LIFE + WHAT I EAT | easy paleo recipes


good morning everyone I thought today I
would do but a day in my life / what I eat in a day because I haven’t
done one of these in a while and I really like these like there’s little
personal video that’s where I take you along with me for the day
um it’s about 6:15 on a Wednesday today and I’m going to be going to a SoulCycle
class with my friend Erin and hitting up Adams class but you guys know it’s my
favorite like he just has a really good instructor and really pushes you so
super excited for that but it’s a busy day shooting some contents and calls
some studying as well because I do have my board exam in August which I predict
the exam I will officially become a doctor so like it’s legit so yeah busy
busy day but it’s gonna be exciting and then the less and this morning I just
had my normal lemon water apple cider vinegar with Himalayan sea salt mint
some black coffee to help feel me for the SoulCycle workout
black coffee has been shown to allow you to workout like you more endurance you
can go harder so it’s why I do it if I’m hungry or I think I’m need a little bit
of fuel I will do a bulletproof coffee um I just kind of gauge how I’m feeling
if I don’t need feel I’ll just have black coffee if I feel like I need a
little something I will have a bulletproof because it kind of fills you
up a little bit so yeah let’s go ahead and head on to SoulCycle so I’m back
from spam got ready showered it’s my hair I do do contrast showers every
single morning where I do 30 seconds hot and then 10 seconds cold and this really
wakes you up this wakes me up more than a cup of coffee if you saw my video
where I talked about like 10 things that you could do for free to better your
health it’s all in the air so leave that video down below but basically it allows
your mitochondria which are the energy powerhouses of your body to produce more
ATP and your body runs on ATP so if you haven’t started cars you want energy you
need to try that I also want to show you guys I got this swell cap it’s the
sports well cap so you put it on and then you can drink out of this instead
of having to unscrew it so I’m gonna link it below got on amaz
but it’s been a game-changer just in general working out life I drink so much
more water so time for some breakfast I’m going to make a smoothie and I do
like to load my smoothie with lots of good things for you because it’s easy to
just jump them into the smoothie and blend it up and get lots of great stuff
in it so let’s go ahead and make it so these are all the goods I got some
frozen cucumber which I’ve been liking instead of cauliflower lately fresh mint
that I got at the farmers market is just so good
collagen Moringa MCT powder – and fats on the milk and protein powder and if I
had any more first finish I would add that but I’m out of first finish so the
vanilla like MCT powder with the mint makes the smoothie so delicious I’ve
been making it last like three days it’s so good hmmm I’m gonna leave it all in
the description box below and this is the MCT powder I use I might have a
coupon code if I do I’ll leave it down below but it’s basically there’s a
powdered form of like MCT oil which makes it nice and creamy this isn’t the
key to making all my smoothies really creamy I also use this in a chocolate
smoothie and it really makes it taste like a milkshake Plus MC tees are so so
good for you so like a staple and all my smoothies it’s work now I have some
emails a call and to upload a video later so it’s a busy busy day so to show
you guys this is this book I use to study for my board exam and basically
have to know everything in this but luckily I have until August to study so I’m getting hungry I thought I would
make some lunch I kind of just listen to my body and
whenever I get hungry I eat if I’m not hungry I don’t eat so I don’t really
abide by like you know lunch is that noon or whatever even though like it
just happens to be noon I just need kind of when I’m hungry and
so I thought I would make some kind of like loaded sweet potato toasts I love
making a sweet potato toast I find it’s really easy and it’s a great like
gluten-free option and so that other toast plus it tastes delicious
I’m meal prep the minute damp and then you’ll see I just pop them in the
toaster so I’m going to top that with some avocado and some egg and also have
a side salad if you guys follow me on instagram you guys know that I like to
have just like a bowl of greens keep it really simple maybe some olive oil and
some lemon sometimes just olive oil before my meals just to help get some
greens in and I switch up my greens sometimes it’s arugula spinach kale
butter lettuce kind of whatever I have on hand it’s a great way to like just
start your meal with a bowl full of greens and some great healthy fats like
olive oil so let’s go ahead and make some lunch that’s just so I have my bowl full of
greens it’s just a wrinkle and butter lettuce sweet potato avocado and eggs
good yummy fuel so I’m just getting ready to upload today’s video it’s my
meal prep one so if you haven’t seen it make sure you check it out because I

is uploaded I got hungry though so we’re gonna have some chia pudding and now my
secret with chia pudding is to use full fat coconut milk not only does it taste
super delicious like I already loved chia pudding when I made it with almond
milk you make it with coconut milk it’s just so good it’s so creamy so much more
filling as well stabilizes your blood sugar and that so I topped it with some
of this um green free granola and guys look it’s so good
such a delicious snack oh I’m just having some green juice and something I
wanted to mention I look at phrases with green juice sometimes I make my own
sometimes I buy but I do do fruitless and that’s because there’s no fiber in
juice so you don’t want the blood sugar spike from the fruit in your green juice
so when you do juice you want to do 100% vegetables that way is spike your blood
sugar so for dinner I thought I would just kind of make a stir-fry with the
vegetables that I have on hand and add in the sauce for my healthy sesame
chicken recipe I have chicken precooked so I won’t be able to like do the coding
and that but I can still do the sauce which is super delicious so I have some
broccoli some bok choy suppose to be baby bok choy but that’s pretty big
I’m some zoodles I just want throw in and ease up and some mushrooms so it is after dinner now I have my blue
light glasses on which I feel are really reflective in this camera but I felt
like a single server talking to a cookie if you guys saw that recipe I don’t know
after dinner I was like I really want a chocolate chip cookie and this one is
single serve it’s paleo it’s vegan I’m going to show you in a second could just
took it out of the oven so I’m like cool and yeah I’m just gonna do emails and
work the rest today I hope that shows you guys like the amount of effort and
work it takes like you know both alright went to med school I do this content now
studying for boards and still doing content so probably gonna work until
like 9 o’clock and then I usually read a book from 9 to 9:30 and then 9:30 is
like lights out because I get up at 5 a.m. every morning which I love and if
you guys want me to talk more about like 5 a.m. and how to like not only get up
at 5 a.m. but like will love your 5 a.m. I can do that so I talk about my video
how it’s like my favorite recipe it’s still cooling so I don’t want to like
touch it cos he’ll break but like it’s 18 grams of fiber and it’s so delicious
that’s going to be it for the night umm little thing on blue light glasses blue
light glasses or having blue light things like flux on your computer or
your iPhone screen it’s very very important to block blue light at least
minimum two hours before you go to bed because blue light not only interrupts
your melatonin and your circadian rhythms but this has been tied to things
like insulin resistance and diabetes and increased cortisol in it it makes you
overeat and crave things like so many load of things so if you guys want me to
talk more about that I can but yes blue light glasses or using one of those apps
both both the flux and the like I don’t know what it’s called your iPhone
settings but if you go to settings under brightness or look display you can find
it it’s very important to turn on because you do not want
blue light
