Cow is the Mother of all Mammals | Allola Divya Reddy | Klimom

Indian cow milk acts as mother’s milk not just for humans but also to all the other 55,000 mammals on this planet. I’m Allola Divya Reddy, Founder of Klimom. Dr. Hitesh Jani, Principal of Gujarat Ayurved University explains very elegantly why Indian cow is the mother of all mothers. Indians, be it any Indian, It’s not like we do not know about the cow. Why did we call the cow as mother and not a goat? Milk is a product of the buffalo as well, and of the goat too. So Divyaji, through you, I want to tell that there are a total of 55, 000 mammals in the world who lactate (produce milk). Every mammal’s breasts produce milk for their child. But we can’t have just any milk. So what is the milk that we can have? We had to look for that in our Shastras. There are eight types of milk we can have. If you have a problem with the eye, then goat’s milk is beneficial. If you suffer from insomnia, then buffalo’s milk is good. So for each illness, a particular milk is good. But if this eye-treating animal, the goat, falls sick or if the buffalo falls sick, and even the human mother, if her breasts are not able to produce milk , in these situations if cow’s milk is given, then
everything will be fixed. (Sanskrit sloka) If a mother is not able to produce milk, then if she has cow’s milk, even she will be able to produce milk. And that is why cow’s milk does not come in the category of milk. Sages have said that it is ‘Amrit’ – honeydew. The population of our sacred Indian cows has been drastically coming down in the past few decades. So let’s save our Gaumata which in turn will save us.
