BODY WEIGHT MAX REP TESTING (ENDURANCE)

BODY WEIGHT MAX REP TESTING (ENDURANCE)

okay guys welcome to Fit Bastian you
guys are probably wondering why I’m wearing a hoodie I’m outside it’s five
degrees and today we are going to do a challenge we’re going to we are going to
do a body weight challenge so we’re going to be focusing on four main
exercises we’re going to be testing our endurance and strength in those four
exercises so first exercise will be the push-ups we’re gonna see how many reps I
can do for each of the workout so how many max amount of reps I can do for
each of the workout so first exercises the push-ups and then we’re going to try
the pull-ups then we’re gonna try two dips and then finally we’re gonna finish
off with a one-mile run we’re gonna see if I can finish it under seven minutes
let’s get to it okay we’re about to start the run five
degrees out here we got a beautiful track right in front of us so all we got
to do okay guys that was $8.00 run that was
the rep challenge that I did you know I just wanted to challenge myself and see
how far I can go and where I stand with waited waited workouts so I think I’m
final summary I guess for today I’m mostly impressed with my pull-ups I
think 14 pull-ups is a good number I think my next goal would be 16 pull-ups
if I can reach 16 pull-ups that’s how much you have to do for the Polish
polish Marine test if you want to be qualified for Polish Marine test you got
to do 16 pull-ups in a 20-pound bust so I think that’s my goal in the future I
used to be able to do more push-ups what I used to go to my basketball club
impact sports shoutout sinks impact sports I used to do 100 we used to do
100 pushups towards right towards the end of our training and usually I’ll get
to 70 push-ups without taking a break and then I would take take 10 second
breaks 5 second breaks to finish off the last 30 so I think here my fitness level
fell down because for the past four years I’ve been just doing gym training
a heavy weight training a little bit of body weight training maybe once a week
or once a month but yes I wasn’t obviously enough
so as you see guys of improving your body it’s men you can improve your body
in many ways lifting weights running and obviously bodyweight exercises so my
point is I just want to improve these so I can be stronger in calisthenics there
are a few things I want to learn in calisthenics so in order to do that
there is a minute amount of fresh shoulder I need to have in order to be
to have the strength to an endurance to perform these specific workouts so
push-ups I am disappointed I thought I would reach at least 45 I got to 36 35 I
can’t remember but it’s in the video and I think I could have done 3 4 more I
think I could have done the push-ups a little bit better but if I can get to 30
that means I’m still fit and the dips I thought I’d do more I thought I’d do as
many dips as I can with push-ups but also disappointment 25 dips was 25
Cameron Bure 25 I think it’s still impressive maybe I could have pushed
myself for that one more 26 but that was my living and how come my dips are that
good I think it’s because I improved I started doing including dips to my
workouts weighted dips and that’s what helped me improve my shoulder strength
my peck contractions and also my triceps have also have improved click here
