8 Secrets To Staying Motivated For Healthy Eating

Heather: You don’t have to do everything
all at once, you can go slowly. [Music Playing] Hey Guys! This is Heather from HealthyEatingstartshere.com.
Okay, what I have for you today is a transition guide with all of my best tips for how to
shift to a healthier way of eating, because I think that’s where a lot of people struggle
is that change. If you’re trying to eat healthier, if you’re
trying to figure out how to plan meals for yourself, for your family, if you’re trying
to lose weight, if you’re trying to overcome some health issues – these are all big changes
that require you to change your habits. And it can be, kind of, tricky, but that’s
why I am here to help you. And that’s what I’ve put together – this meal plan product
for, is to help you make that transition and make it easy for you. Make it, so that you don’t have to figure
things out for yourself. I’ve helped you figure that out, because I have made so many
changes in my life in how I eat and how I do things. And I’m not perfect, I would never say that
I’m perfect; I don’t even think there is such a thing as perfect. But I’ve learned
a lot of things along the way, I’m going to continue to learn things in future, and
the main thing is that I don’t feel like I’m struggling anymore. And so that’s what I want to help you do,
is overcome with that struggle. So, the meal plan – just to recap is 28 days – all of your
breakfast, lunches, dinners, snacks, all of the recipes and the nutritional breakdown,
all of the calories, calculated specifically for you, and your grocery list, all that stuff,
planned out, so you really even don’t have to think. If you’re wondering, hmmm…, is this going
to be worth it for me? Am I going to like it? Don’t worry, because I am totally happy
to give you all of your money back if you don’t like it. I have a full 90-day return
policy, so don’t worry about that at all. Okay, one thing that I found to be really
helpful in the transition for myself and for other people is to find more than just one
motivation. You may be thinking about being motivated
just by simply weight loss, for example, but if you think about it in terms of having more
energy, feeling better about yourself, all kinds of different things it’ll be a lot
more motivating to stick with it. And then, kind of, along with same lines,
but a little bit different is to think in terms of long-term goals. So, taking weight loss is the example again,
that’s a short-term or medium-term goal, but if you think about it in terms of being
able to play with your grandkids, being able to go for walks, being able to do all of the
things that you want to do in life that is your long-term goal. You don’t have to do everything all at once,
you can go slowly. Give yourself permission to not have everything mastered all at the
beginning, and I think you’ll find your transition a lot more smooth. One of the best motivators that I know of
to transition to healthy eating is to make food that tastes absolutely incredible. Because
if your healthy food tastes awesome, then why would you not eat it? And if you’re worried about missing out
on all your favorite foods when you’re eating healthy stuff, don’t worry you can make
healthy versions of all your favorite treats and comfort foods. Keep it simple. There is so much power in
keeping things simple. A lot of people when they try to transition try to take on the
world, but just work on small steps that are simple and manageable, and just keep taking
them one after the other. And you’ll just keep going in the right direction. Alright, don’t feel guilty if things aren’t
working out or of if you’re having a day that you feel is less than perfect, even though,
as I said, I don’t really believe in perfection. You can’t feel guilty. If you feel guilty,
it’s just going to feed into that negative cycle, it’s going to cause you to crave
things, it’s not going to end well. So, instead, just take it as a motivator to
make you reinvigorated, to keep going with healthy eating, and don’t worry about it,
don’t dwell on it, just move forward, and enjoy yourself. Keep it positive – it’s so much easier to
work to towards something positive than it is to try to move away from something negative. So, focus on all of the amazing things that
you get to eat. Focus on all of the amazing things that you get to do with your life when
you feel healthy. Alright, I’m super excited for you to start
making the transition for yourself. Be sure to download the PDF that I have put with this
article; it has my thoughts, a little bit more flashed out in writing. And this meal
plan that I’ve put together is specifically designed to help with the transition. So, if you’re someone who is trying to eat
healthier, but you just really have trouble figuring out how to plan meals, how to go
grocery shopping, how to figure out your portion sizes, this is going to be perfect and if
you’ve been looking at personalized meal plans and they’re just too expensive, they’re
usually a few hundred dollars this is going to be a great price for you. That price is going to go up on Monday night
9 p.m. Eastern, so now is the perfect time to give it a try and, like I said, I give
full money back, so now worries if it doesn’t work just send me a note. Remember, the best time to make amazing changes
for yourself is right now. So, just think baby steps, keep it simple,
and keep it positive.
